{May 31, 2008}   “The Truth”

The Truth

Original Work: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon – Red/Blue Rescue Team

Summary: Elly the Pikachu was human once, and though she’s happy as the saviour of the world and co-founder of Rescue Team Elemé, she has always known at some point she would have to return to the human world, to face her suspended memories. But the decision is easier for her to make than for her spirited partner Leafy to accept, and going back will force her to question everything. Who she really is, and who she will choose to be in the future.

Spoilers: The ending of the first Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games.

Warnings: None.

Preference Warnings: All original characters.

Notes: The Mystery Dungeon game had such a profound effect on me that I had to make something of it. I’ve always really liked getting glimpses into the Pokémon world as it is without humans, and spent way too much time thinking about how the human and Pokémon worlds meld, and the Mystery Dungeon story seemed like the perfect opening to explore that. Okay, so I’m taking it way too seriously.

{May 20, 2008}   “Friday The 3rd”

Friday The 3rd

Original Work: Gravitation

Summary: An accident befalls Eiri’s latest novel draft. But what does Shuichi know about the circumstances that has him laughing his pants off?

Spoilers: None.

Warnings: Sexual references. Swearing.

Preference Warnings: Average characterisation and some suspension of belief required.

Notes: Over a year ago, I was scanning some technical sites and I came across information about this virus. Being one of those terrible people that laughs hysterically at the idea of people destroying their data through stupidity (and I’ve done it myself, so no elitism intended), I had to write something to commemorate the occasion.

For the record, this is one bug I’ve never had on my computer. I also missed out on the ‘love’ virus that was doing the rounds years ago, because my computer back then sucked too much to install it. ^^;

I remember this story as being better than it actually is. One day, I may rewrite it so an amusing idea gets the treatment it deserves. But until then, it’s amusing enough to share…

{May 20, 2008}   “Fateful Words”

Fateful Words

Original Work: Gravitation

Summary: After something unexpected happens, Shuichi concludes Eiri is dying. As you do.

Spoilers: None.

Warnings: A whole bunch of sexual references.

Preference Warnings: Possibly unbelievable situations, only average characterisation. Also, Shuichi is rather stupid.

Notes: This is one of my earlier Gravitation fanfics, probably the first that was worth keeping. At the time I wrote it I despised it and dismissed it for a couple of years, but re-reading it recently, I decided it wasn’t all that bad.

Spoilers: The Deathly Hallows post-publication revelations. If you don’t know what I’m talking about… maybe you don’t want to know.

Warnings: None

Preference Warnings: Attempts at humour.

Notes: I had to do it.
